After School Nanny – Tooting, South West London

A lovely, down-to-earth family in Tooting are looking for a warm, reliable and organised After School Nanny to become part of their busy household and support with their four children.

The children are aged 11, 9, 7 and 4, and the family are looking for someone who is confident managing a lively after-school routine, enjoys being around children of different ages, and can bring calm, structure and fun to the afternoons.

The school is just a 5-minute walk from the home, so the role is very much walkable day-to-day, however a driver would be helpful for clubs and activities (but is not essential).

Hours

Term time:

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00pm – 7:00pm

School holidays:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 6:00pm

Duties will include

• School pick-up (5-minute walk)
• Taking children to local clubs and activities
• Helping with homework and after-school routine
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
• Keeping on top of children’s laundry and bedrooms
• Light housekeeping relating to the children
• Helping the household run smoothly during busy afternoons

About you

• Previous nanny experience with school-aged children
• Confident, calm and able to manage a busy home
• Happy to cook simple family meals
• Organised and proactive
• Comfortable with light housekeeping
• Driver would be desirable but not essential
• Up-to-date DBS and excellent references preferred

Salary

£18–£20 per hour, depending on experience

As soon as possible / to be agreed
