Part Time Housekeeper required for lovely home in Cobham

Lovely family based between Cobham and Oxshott looking for a self-employed Housekeeper and home organiser to start ASAP.

18 hours per week

£15.00 GROSS per hour.

Days and hours needed :

Monday 9am – 3pm or 8am - 2pm ( 6 hours ) on Monday the deep cleaning will need to be done hence the extra time.

Tuesday , Thursday and Friday preferably 9am – 1pm or 8 - 12.00 4 hours each day.

There is no childcare as the daughter is in full time school , however, there is a small dog that needs a small walk if the lady of the house isn’t at home. No cooking required.

6 bedroomed property over 3 floors.

Downstairs large kitchen diner, family room , laundry room , sitting room , cloakroom and Hall.

First floor bedrooms and dressing areas.

Top floor is media room and office.

Only 4 bedrooms each with an en -suite are regularly used. Downstairs large kitchen/diner and family room used most of the time and will need attention each day. Including cleaning the kitchen table and removing any dirty items to the dishwasher. The same of the island in the kitchen which will need to be looked after and items tidied up.

The family room has a large coffee table which will need to be cleaned on top of as well as underneath to remove fluff and prevent a build -up of dog hair.

Full cleaning throughout the house on Mondays on the 6 hour day and then ongoing housekeeping on the remaining visits.

The housekeeper will be responsible for the all family laundry including school uniforms, sports kit, small items and day-wear such as jeans, t- shirts etc all of which will need to be washed , dried, ironed and put away. Bedlinen and formal wear will also need to be cared for.

There will also be the need for regular towel and hand towel refresh both upstairs and in the downstairs cloakroom.

Errands to the local shops for any missing and needed items as needed and also dry cleaning and post office on occasion,

Project manage cupboards and drawers and send old clothes , toys, books to the Charity shop. Management also of the upstairs loft space area which needs some organising and management.

Help with sorting a window cleaner. Waiting in for parcels, unpacking groceries after delivery.

Household management and good organisational skills are essential to this role.

Must be experienced and come with excellent references.

Nice person, energetic and in good health.

Capable , reliable and able to get on and do without wasting time.
