We are looking for a professional Nanny for a family in Otford.
The children are 4.5 years and 3 years and at a local school in the next village. They are a lovely family that are looking for support.
Hours:
Term time : 34 weeks
Monday to Friday - 2pm till 7pm
School holidays: 18 weeks
Monday to Friday - 9am till 7pm
The salary will be pro rata so that the successful candidate will receive the same amount each month.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and suitable for any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including tidying up toys and doing light housekeeping tasks related to the children's care
- Follow any specific instructions or routines provided by the parents/guardians
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding the child's daily activities, behavior, and any concerns or issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Reliable transportation to commute to the family's home - must be a driver with own car
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
