Our family in Wandsworth, London is looking for a full time Nanny for their 2 children aged 6 and 5.
Hours: 7.30am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday (50 hours per week)
Salary: £15gph
Start: Immediate
DBS required.
Driver a bonus but not essential.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as playtime, crafts, and educational games
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and suitable for any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and school assignments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, discipline, and other specific requests
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Ensure children's safety at all times, both inside and outside the home
-School drop off and collection each day, and taking them to any clubs / activities or playdates
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a babysitter or nanny preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children of different ages and their parents
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and efficiently
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
