Nanny/ Housekeeper required for family in West Horsley
Our lovely client is looking for an experienced and kind Nanny that loves both looking after children and keeping a home clean and tidy. The home is based in a beautiful village and is close to amenities. The candidate would need to be a driver and live locally.
The role will include: taking the children to and from school aged 11 years and 8 years, taking them to after school clubs and activities, keeping the family home clean and tidy during the day whilst the children are at school. There will be some cooking and grocery shopping, laundry and ironing. Must be happy to flex between childcare and housekeeping.
Hours:
Monday and Tuesday - 7am till 7pm
Wednesday - 7am till 9am
Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition
- Assist with homework and school assignments
- Supervise children during outings and transportation to and from activities
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding child's routines, discipline, and any specific needs or requirements
Skills:
- Previous experience in childcare or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Basic first aid and CPR certification and DBS
