Well organised and experienced housekeeper needed 18 hours per week in Esher for a professional family needing support – immediate start.
Core hours : Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 2.00pm – 8.00pm . in addition Saturday mornings twice a month would be helpful in addition to the core hours. In school holidays there will be additional hours offered as required.
The house is a beautifully presented sizeable property with 7 bedrooms spread over 3 floors with entertainment space and home gym/pool complex.
The family are seeking an experienced housekeeper who will engage with the family ( there are 3 teens in the home ) as well as a daily nanny who comes in to organise them and help with after school pick- ups etc.
There is a cleaner who attends and the housekeeper will be a support to her as well as maintaining the home environment and keeping on top of laundry, groceries, errands and tidying up. The dishwasher will need to be loaded and unloaded and there will be the need for kitchen cupboards and drawers to be sorted , towels refreshed, topping up of soaps and tissues, emptying of bins and assisting with recycling. Cleaning inside the fridge and microwave, sort expired food and dispose of unwanted items.
Sorting put laundry and taking items for dry cleaning. Ironing shirts , uniforms and keeping on top of kits and school bags.
Helping with evening meals for the family and keeping the fridge topped up with fresh produce.
Helping the teens to engage with homework and get on top of their evening routine.
The right candidate will be :
Experienced within a similar role and be happy to engage and be part of the team who run the home and help the family.
Car owner/driver essential.
Excellent references from previous families.
Non- smoker/vaper
Energetic and self- motivated
Able to use own initiative and be able to problem solve/trouble shoot if needed.
Happy to work on the team with the nanny and support each other with tasks and jobs as needed.
Happy to work with teens and make an effort with them.
Available for an immediate start.
DBS in place
£12.00 - £14.00 gross per hour subject to experience .
