Our HNW client is looking for an extremely professional and experienced Housekeeper for their large home in Cobham.
You will need to work alongside another Housekeeper, so must be good at working as a team. You will be carrying out all manner of housekeeping tasks such as deep cleaning, wardrobe management, polishing, dusting, running errands, laundering fine materials, dusting blinds and curtains, meal preparation. This person must have good experience of caring for fine linens and fine items within the home. The family travel a great deal, therefore they require packing and unpacking of suitcases before and after each trip, taking items to the dry cleaners, ironing, re-packing clothing, toiletries and essentials.
The occasional Saturday will be required, when the couple will either be returning from a trip, and need assistance with unpacking and preparing the house for their arrival. They also love to entertain, so need help with arranging dinner parties, decorations, organisation of caterers and preparation of the house for guests.
It is important that the Housekeeper can clean, tidy and prepare the house to a hotel standard. Beds must be made with precision, and the house looked after and cleaned with accuracy and attention to detail.
They do have 3 cats, so the Housekeeper must be animal friendly. This role would suit someone organised, neat, tidy, experienced, precise, who has experience working in an extremely large home. Must be able to work quickly and not cut corners.
The family require a driver for running errands.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am until 4.30pm, some flexibility, and occassional Saturdays.
Start: Beginning of October
Salary: £18-23 gross per hour
