Nanny/Housekeeper – Epping, Essex

Monday–Friday | 1:30pm–6:00/6:30pm | Employed Position

Hummingbird Homestaff is looking for a warm, energetic and organised Nanny/Housekeeper to support a lovely family in Epping, caring for their two boys aged 5 and 3.

The boys are active and full of energy, so the family are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and can keep up with their busy after-school routine, while also helping to keep the home running smoothly.

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 1:30pm–6:00pm or 6:30pm
• Approximately 22.5–25 hours per week
• Employed position
• Start date: As soon as possible

Duties will include:

• General housekeeping to keep the home clean, tidy and organised.
• Collecting the children and managing their after-school routine.
• Taking the boys to clubs and activities.
• Helping with homework and reading.
• Preparing and cooking the children’s tea.
• Encouraging play, engagement and age-appropriate activities.
• Helping the children tidy away their toys and belongings.
• General household support as needed.

The Ideal Candidate

The family are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring and enthusiastic.
• Energetic and confident caring for two young boys.
• Organised, proactive and happy to balance childcare with housekeeping.
• Confident with cooking and preparing family meals.
• Reliable, responsible and keen to become a valued part of the family’s routine.

Essential Requirements

• Previous nanny or childcare experience.
• Full driving licence and own car.
• Current DBS check.
• Excellent references.
• The right to work in the UK.
