Experienced Nanny / housekeeper / Mother’s help needed ASAP in Farnham within a very busy home for a lovely professional family with 4 children under 5 years of age.
There are 4 children under 5 years and the right person will be a team player but also able to manage alone. The role is a blend of sole charge and shared care so she must be happy to bend and flex with the changing needs of the family as every day will be different. The children are in a really good routine and the family are keen to keep this in place.
On certain days Mum will work from home and will take a few hours out to help at busy times.
Current structure for the children’s school and Nursery days/times which will change for the summer holidays and again in September .
The children:
Girl of 4.5 years – starting full time school in September and currently in pre-school.
Girl of 3 years – also in pre-school
Both girls currently within the same school and go daily from 8am to 4pm in term time.
Twins boy and girl of 19 months. Both attend nursery full days currently 7.30 – 6.30pm .
Days needed : Monday to Thursday only.
Monday: 7.00am – 7.00pm – this is the only day that is fixed as both parents work in London.
Tuesday 12.45- 7.00pm
Wednesday 7.00am – 7.00pm ( or could be 8.00am start if preferred)
Thursday 12.45 – 7.00pm
Total 36.5 hours per week.
Tuesday – Thursday are flexible with start and finish times – Monday cannot change and is fixed 7-7pm.
The idea is the nanny HK will start ASAP and the 2 older girls will no longer do a full day at preschool. They will do mornings only and will finish at 12.45pm so they can come home and have time with the nanny . in September this will change as the eldest will start full time school.
The twins will also have a change made to their nursery schedule at some point so they can have time at home too.
Mum and Dad are both hands on and want to stay actively involved in the day to day scheduling as they appreciate this is not possible for one person to do all the pick- ups an drop offs. The job will be long term and the family are looking for someone who is willing to bend and flex with the family and happy to get involved with day to day schedules, light housekeeping ( tidying up and keeping the house in order) children’s laundry and management of toys, books, games and equipment .
Must be well organised, a good communicator, a real team player , reliable, trustworthy and have a genuine love of small children. Able to manage a busy schedule and keep to timings. Also will need a good sense of humour and willing to have fun and enjoy the children. End of day routine is very structured and all children are all in bed by 7pm. Must be happy to help with bath time and getting the children settled ready for stories.
There is no deep cleaning needed as there is a cleaner who attends and does the bathrooms, cloakrooms and kitchen etc.
Keeping stocked up on nappies, baby wipes etc. keep the nappy bags topped up with changes of clothes, bibs, wipes and nappies. Manage school bags, kits, reading books and occasional things needed like cakes for the bake sale etc.
Able to cook lovely meals from scratch not rely on oven baked goods like chicken nuggets or fish fingers and chips. The family enjoy pasta and sauces etc.
