Our lovely client in Henley on Thames are looking for a Nanny for their two children aged 4 and 2 years.
The home is set in central Henley on Thames and close to all amenities. They are looking for a kind and caring Nanny that has experience with children ages 4 and 2 years.
Hours:
Monday and Tuesday - 2 till 6pm
Wednesday and Thursday - 8am till 6pm
Total of 28 hours per week.
During the school holiday these hours increase to full days x 4 days so 40 hours per week.
Salary : £16/17gph
The family will sometimes require ad hoc babysitting and over night stays if the mother is away in business.
Role Includes:
Planning healthy meals for the children
Cooking for the children
Planning activities and keeping them entertained
Taking to groups and softplay
Drop off at school and nursery
Children's laundry
Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as playtime, reading, and crafts
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences
- Assist with homework and school assignments, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including tidying up toys and cleaning up after meals
- Follow any specific instructions or routines provided by the parents regarding nap times, bedtime, or other daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding any concerns, updates, or incidents that occur during your time with the children
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny role is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with children of different ages
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
