Lovely family in Bookham, near Leatherhead seek experienced and proactive nanny ASAP - 3 days per week ( Tues/Weds/Thurs days fixed) 8.00am – 7.00pm ( can be a 9am start if preferred)
Children are twins of 18 months and a 2.5 year old. Complete sole charge. Car provided while on duty . Twins experience not essential but a bonus – experience with working with very small children is essential.
The family are looking for someone warm, fun loving, who genuinely loves being with very young children and who has the experience to keep the children happy, entertained and within their existing routine. The nanny can take them to activities and groups and can arrange play dates and social events as well as visiting local parks and places of interest.
The nanny will be required to do nursery duties only which will include caring for their clothes and doing the laundry for the children , caring for their equipment and keeping it clean and clear of food and sticky stuff. Caring for their bedrooms and bedding , keeping the nappy bags well stocked with spare nappies, wipes clothes and extras. Sterilising bottles and cups. Cleaning up after play time and keeping on top of toys, books and play things.
The nanny can look into buying new age related activity things and can remove any old or tired items from use.
The family need the nanny to be happy, proactive and engaging. A good communicator who has experience of working with very young children and can manage their ages and stages of development.
The nanny must be able to drive and be confident managing the children safely in and out of the car.
Happy to manage all snacks and meals and if possible do some extra portions for the freezer.
There are no pets. No cleaning or housekeeper duties – just child related light housekeeping such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning up the kitchen and bathroom after use. Etc.
The nanny must have
A DBS in place
Excellent references from previous positions
First aid
Be a non- smoker/vaper
Be reasonably local to Bookham / Leatherhead
