Job Brief: Live-Out Housekeeper
Start Date: June/July
Location: West Wittering, West Sussex and Kensington, London
Position: Full-time Live-Out Housekeeper
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week ( negotiable and flexible for the right candidate) Could reduce to 30 hours if candidate preferred.
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-Out Housekeeper to maintain and oversee two residences located in West Sussex and Kensington, London. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing all aspects of household upkeep to ensure both homes are maintained to A high standard of cleanliness and tidiness. Must be a competent home cook and enjoy meal planning.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Housekeeping:
- Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and other designated spaces.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and ensuring all surfaces are clean and sanitised.
- Changing bed linens and organising closets.
- Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.
- Maintaining household inventory and purchasing cleaning supplies as needed.
- Organisation and Maintenance:
- Organise and tidy rooms, ensuring items are stored appropriately.
- Arrange and maintain household items, such as kitchenware, toiletries, and other supplies.
- Coordinate with contractors, trades or repairmen for maintenance and repairs, as necessary as well as take receipt of parcels.
- Oversee the care of delicate items and ensure proper handling.
- Additional Tasks:
- Assisting with meal preparation and cooking when required.
- Running errands, such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and other household-related tasks.
- Occasional assistance with event planning and preparations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private residence or similar environment.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Can do attitude is a must.
- Discretion and respect for privacy.
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Valid driver's license.
