Hours: 9am–2pm
Pay: £18–£20 gross per hour

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting for a lovely family in Colchester, Essex, who are looking for an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys keeping a home clean, organised and beautifully presented, and has a genuine eye for detail.

Duties Include:

• Detailed cleaning throughout the home
• Thorough cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Cleaning and maintaining all living areas and bedrooms
• Keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
• Other general housekeeping duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has previous private household or professional housekeeping experience
• Takes pride in delivering a consistently high standard of cleaning
• Is reliable, trustworthy, organised and thorough
• Is happy working independently and managing their time effectively
• Must be comfortable around dogs, as the family has two lovely, friendly doggies
• Is self-employed or happy to work on a self-employed basis
• Can provide excellent references

The family can be flexible with the days and hours for the right candidate, so there may be some room to tailor the schedule.

Pay: £18–£20 per hour, depending on experience.

Start: As soon as possible.
