£20 gross per hour | Monday & Thursday | 5 hours per visit | 10 hours per week

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced, trustworthy and highly organised Housekeeper to join a lovely family in Cobham, Surrey.

The family live in a beautiful 5-bedroom home and are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and can help keep the household clean, organised and running smoothly.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper looking for a regular part-time position with consistent hours.

The Role

Monday & Thursday
5 hours per visit
10 hours per week
£20 gross per hour
Cobham, Surrey

The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining the home to a high standard, with a good eye for detail and the ability to work proactively.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General housekeeping and cleaning throughout the 5-bedroom home
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothes away
• Ironing
• Changing bed linen
• Keeping bedrooms and living areas tidy and beautifully presented
• General household organisation
• Noticing what needs doing and taking the initiative
• Keeping the home running smoothly and ensuring everything is in order
• Meal preparation and some family cooking would be very welcome

The family would particularly love to find someone who enjoys cooking and would be happy to prepare some meals or do some batch cooking when time allows.

• Experienced in private household housekeeping
• Trustworthy, reliable and discreet
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Efficient but thorough
• Someone who genuinely takes pride in their work

• Happy to help with meal preparation
• Looking for a long-term position with a lovely family
