Housekeeper – Lovely Family | Saffron Walden, Essex

£18 gross per hour | 6 hours per week | Flexible part-time position

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting for a reliable, experienced and proactive Housekeeper to join a lovely family in Saffron Walden, Essex.

The family have two young children – a newborn and a toddler – and are looking for someone who can take pride in keeping their home clean, organised and running smoothly.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper looking for a small number of regular hours with a warm family.

The Role

6 hours per week
£18 gross per hour
Saffron Walden, Essex

The hours can be discussed with the family, depending on availability and what works best for both sides.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General cleaning throughout the home
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Laundry, including washing, drying and putting clothes away
• Ironing when required
• Keeping bedrooms and living areas tidy and organised
• Changing bed linen
• General household organisation
• Noticing what needs doing and taking the initiative
• Helping to keep the home calm, tidy and well organised around the family's busy routine

The Ideal Housekeeper

The family are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in private household housekeeping
• Warm, friendly and approachable
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Proactive and organised
• Thorough with excellent attention to detail
• Happy to work independently
• Someone who takes genuine pride in their work
• Comfortable working around young children
• Looking for a lovely family to support on a regular basis
