Nanny/Housekeeper – Maidstone, Kent

Hummingbird Homestaff are seeking a warm, experienced and reliable Nanny/Housekeeper for a lovely family based in Maidstone, caring for 1-year-old twin girls.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is confident with toddlers, enjoys a busy and hands-on role, and is happy working in a supportive home environment with mum present.

The ideal candidate will be calm, proactive and engaging, with a genuine love for working with young children. You will be confident taking the children out to local parks and organising age-appropriate, stimulating activities both at home and in the local area.

Hours

Tuesday – Friday
10:00am – 6:00pm
40 hours per week

Duties include:

• Full care of 1-year-old twin girls
• Engaging play and age-appropriate activities
• Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Supporting daily routines including naps and feeding
• Taking the children to parks and local outings
• Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
• Light nursery-related housekeeping (children’s laundry, tidying play areas)
• Working alongside mum, who will be present in the home

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience with babies or toddlers (twins experience is a bonus)
• Warm, patient, and confident with young children
• Happy working in a home where mum is present
• Proactive, reliable and organised
• Able to follow routine but also use initiative
• DBS and excellent references required

Additional Information:

• No pets in the home
• £18 per hour
• Long-term position
• Start date: ASAP
