Hours:
50 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Typical hours: 7.30amam – 6:30pm Can leave early on Friday at 4pm

Job Description:

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Kemsing, Kent, seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to care for our energetic and curious 2-year-old child. The ideal candidate will be kind, proactive, and passionate about early childhood development, providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full nursery duties (child’s laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining child’s areas tidy)
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities (educational play, arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading)
• Supporting early learning and development (speech, motor skills, potty training if necessary)
• Attending local playgroups, classes, or arranging playdates
• Preparing healthy and balanced meals and snacks
• Following the child’s established routine (naps, meals, etc.)
• Light housekeeping related to the child
• Keeping parents updated with daily activities and developmental progress

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous professional nanny experience with toddlers
• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
• Paediatric First Aid certification
• Excellent references from previous families
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Non-smoker
• Full UK driving licence
• Ofsted registration (optional but advantageous)

Salary:
Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications
£17–£18 gross per hour
