Hummingbird Homestaff are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming family seeking an exceptional Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper to become an integral part of their household.

This is a truly unique opportunity to join a lovely family living in a stunning farmhouse set within 4 acres of beautiful gardens and countryside, offering a peaceful and idyllic working environment.

The family have two delightful boys aged 6 and 8 years old, as well as two friendly family dogs, and are looking for someone who can confidently support both the childcare and household management aspects of family life, helping to ease the load for two busy working parents.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding position for someone who enjoys both nannying and housekeeping and takes pride in creating a well-organised, happy home.

Responsibilities will include:

Childcare
School drop-offs and collections
Supporting the children's daily routines
Preparing snacks and simple meals
Organising activities and outings
Helping with homework and encouraging positive routines
Creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment
Housekeeping & Household Support
Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the home
Laundry and ironing
Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces beautifully organised
Grocery shopping and household errands
Liaising with tradespeople and contractors
Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household
Providing an extra pair of hands wherever needed
Accommodation

The successful candidate will enjoy their own stunning self-contained accommodation, offering complete privacy and independence, including:

Separate house
Private entrance
Walk-in wardrobe
Kitchen and living space
Beautiful countryside surroundings

A vehicle can also be provided for work-related duties if required.

Has previous nanny and housekeeping experience
Is warm, caring, and naturally organised
Is confident managing a busy household independently

Is proactive and able to use their own initiative
Loves dogs and is comfortable around animals
Holds a full UK driving licence
