Private Household – Housekeeper Requirement

Permanent Position

Hours: 10am – 2pm

Days: Monday until Friday

Language Spoken: English

£17.00 an hour

DBS Checked

Have Own Car and Full Driving Licence

Tasks

• Household cleaning, scouring, mopping, vacuuming polishing and dusting

• Household laundry and ironing

• Stripping and making beds

• Wardrobe management and care of fine clothes

• Arrange drop off and collection of dry cleaning

• Ensuring cleaning products are well stocked

• General tidying, decluttering and organising every room in the household

• Sorting rubbish and recycling and moving it to designated bin areas and set out

• Food/store cupboard shopping

• Running household and personal errands

• Helping at special ad hoc events

• Report disturbances, breakages and communicate any household repairs

• Monitor contractors and service engineers visiting the property

• Check on post box and file documents

• Professional when greeting and communicating all visitors to the household • Ensure soft garden furniture is clean and presentable

• Proven experience as a hard-working housekeeper with references

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
