We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Housekeeper /Nanny to provide exceptional childcare in a warm and loving environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, creating engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a proactive individual who can educate and entertain children while fostering their development. Must be a willing housekeeper as their is a gap in the middle of the day when the children are at school. This time will be used for the home.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and engage in educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children, catering to dietary needs.
• Assist with homework and provide support in various subjects.
• Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities.
• Transport children to and from school or extracurricular activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress and any concerns.

This role is for a professional housekeeper and nanny that have been used to running a busy home. The children are 4 and 6 years and they have a new baby. The house is busy so mum needs a support with school drop off and breakfast, help getting the children ready and dressed. Once at school there will be cleaning and laundry to complete along with preparing an evening meal. After a nice break there will be school collection and support with bath and bedtime routine.

Hours: Monday to Friday

7am till 6pm

Salary: £43,000 to £47,000 per annum

Skills

• Proven experience in childcare or nannying is essential.
• Ability to educate children in a fun and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in English
• Strong organisational skills to manage daily routines effectively.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children safely.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are crucial traits for success in this role.
