Housekeeper Required – Beautiful Private Home in Sevenoaks, Kent

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper for a beautiful, large private home near Seal, Sevenoaks.

The family is looking for someone reliable, organised and proactive who takes pride in maintaining a home to a high standard. This is a housekeeping-only position, ideal for someone who enjoys keeping a property immaculate, well-organised and running smoothly.

The household has a small, friendly dog, so the successful candidate must be comfortable working in a home with a dog. There are no dog-walking or pet-care duties involved.

Duties will include

• General housekeeping and detailed cleaning throughout the home.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Organising cupboards, drawers and household spaces.
• Wardrobe management and keeping clothing neatly organised.
• Cleaning ovens and household appliances as required.
• Internal window cleaning.
• Taking care of surfaces, furnishings and delicate items appropriately.
• Identifying and managing household tasks independently.

Working Hours & Salary

• Hours: 4 hours per day, 3 days per week (12 hours in total).
• Schedule: Three days spread across the week, with some flexibility.
• Rate: £20 per hour.
• Employment status: Self-employed.
• Location: Near Seal, Sevenoaks, Kent.
• Start date: As soon as possible.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a private household or high-end property. They will be thorough, trustworthy, discreet and confident working independently, with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

They must also be happy working in a home with a small dog.
