Housekeeper – Private Family Home in Sevenoaks, Kent

£20 per hour | Fridays, 9am–3pm | 6 Hours per Week

About the Role

Hummingbird Homestaff is looking for a reliable, organised and friendly Housekeeper to support a lovely private family in their home in Sevenoaks, Kent.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised home and enjoys working in a busy family environment.

The family have three children aged 11, 9 and 5, as well as two much-loved rescue dogs. We are therefore looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and feels comfortable working in a family home.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home.
• General housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
• Keeping the home organised, tidy and beautifully presented.
• Laundry, ironing and general clothing care as required.
• Keeping family areas neat, organised and welcoming.
• Taking pride in the finer details and ensuring the home is maintained to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.
• Warm, friendly and approachable.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Experienced in private household housekeeping.
• Attentive to detail and proud of their work.
• Comfortable working in a busy family home.
• A genuine dog lover who is happy around two rescue dogs.

The family are looking for someone who can become a trusted and valued part of their household and help keep everything running smoothly.

Working Day: Friday
Hours: 9am–3pm
Total Hours: 6 hours per week
Rate: £20 per hour
Children: Three, aged 11, 9 and 5
Pets: Two rescue dogs
