After-School Nanny / Housekeeper – Henley-on-Thames

£20 gross per hour | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | 1.30pm–6.30pm

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting for a lovely family in Henley-on-Thames who are looking for a reliable, organised and caring After-School Nanny / Housekeeper to support their busy household.

The family have three children aged 11, 9 and 5 and are looking for someone who can combine housekeeping with after-school childcare, ensuring everything runs smoothly and the home is ready for the evening when Mum returns from work.

The Role

The day will begin with household duties, including general housekeeping, tidying and keeping the home clean and organised. In the afternoon, you will collect the youngest child from school, while the two older children arrive home on the school bus.

You will then help the children settle in, prepare their evening meal, ensure homework is completed and keep the household running smoothly. The aim is to have the children happy, fed and organised, with the home tidy and everything taken care of by the time Mum arrives home around 6pm–6.30pm.

The Ideal Candidate

The family are looking for someone warm, proactive and dependable who enjoys working with children and takes pride in maintaining a well-organised home. You will need to be confident balancing housekeeping with childcare, preparing family meals and helping children with their after-school routines.

Requirements:

• Previous nannying, childcare or relevant household experience.
• A full, clean driving licence and confidence driving to collect the youngest child from school.
• A current Enhanced DBS check.
• Good cooking skills and the ability to prepare family meals.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• A genuine love of working with children.
