Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced, reliable and highly organised Housekeeper to join a lovely family in Chobham, Surrey.

The family are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and will take responsibility for keeping their beautiful 5-bedroom home clean, organised and running smoothly.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper looking for a regular part-time position with flexibility around days and hours.

The role

15 hours per week
£20 gross per hour

The family are flexible on how the 15 hours are arranged and are happy to discuss the schedule with the right candidate.

You'll be responsible for:

• General housekeeping and cleaning throughout the home
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothes away
• Ironing to a high standard
• Changing bed linen
• Keeping bedrooms and living areas beautifully presented
• Organising household areas and ensuring everything is kept in its place
• Keeping on top of the family's laundry and clothing
• Deep cleaning when required
• Noticing what needs doing and taking the initiative
• Helping to ensure the home is always clean, tidy and well organised

The ideal Housekeeper

The family are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in private household housekeeping
• Reliable, trustworthy and discreet
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Efficient but thorough
• Someone who takes genuine pride in their work
• Confident managing a larger family home
• Warm, friendly and approachable
• Happy to take ownership of the housekeeping
• Looking for a long-term position with a lovely family
