Experienced Housekeeper – Lovely Family | Dorking, Surrey

£18–£20 gross per hour | Friday preferred | 9am–5pm | 8 hours per week

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced, reliable and proactive Housekeeper to join a lovely family in Dorking, Surrey.

The family are looking for someone to take pride in maintaining their beautiful 5-bedroom home, ensuring everything is clean, organised and running smoothly.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper looking for a regular full day each week with a welcoming family.

The Role

Friday preferred
9.00am–5.00pm
8 hours per week
£18–£20 gross per hour
Dorking, Surrey

There may be some flexibility around the day for the right candidate, although Friday would be the family's preferred day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General housekeeping throughout the home
• Thorough cleaning of the 5-bedroom property
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen
• Keeping bedrooms and living spaces tidy and organised
• General household organisation
• Ensuring the home is beautifully presented
• Noticing what needs doing and taking the initiative
• Helping to keep the household running smoothly

Cooking

Some cooking or meal preparation would be a lovely bonus, particularly for someone who enjoys preparing family meals or doing some batch cooking.

This isn't essential, but would be very welcome.

• Experienced in private household housekeeping
• Reliable, trustworthy and discreet
• Proactive and highly organised
• Thorough with excellent attention to detail
• Happy working independently
