Experienced Housekeeper – Sevenoaks

Hummingbird HomeStaff are looking for an experienced and reliable housekeeper for a lovely private household in Sevenoaks.

This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week, 9am–3pm, for a family with a busy home and a few much-loved animals!

Duties will include:

• General housekeeping and cleaning throughout the property, maintaining a high standard at all times.
• Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
• Laundry, ironing and putting clothes away.
• Changing bed linen and keeping bedrooms fresh and tidy.
• Meal preparation and cooking simple, fresh family meals.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked.
• General household organisation and making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Being comfortable around animals, as the household has three horses and three cats.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous private housekeeping experience.
• Be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently.
• Have good cooking and meal preparation skills.
• Be organised, proactive and have excellent attention to detail.
• Be reliable, trustworthy and able to provide excellent references.
• Be comfortable working in a home with horses and cats.
• Have a DBS
• Excellent references.

Location: Sevenoaks
Days: 3 days per week
Hours: 9am–3pm
Rate: £18–£20 gross per hour
