Experienced Housekeeper – Sevenoaks

Hummingbird HomeStaff are looking for an experienced, hardworking and reliable housekeeper for a lovely private household in Sevenoaks, to start immediately.

This is a dedicated housekeeping position in a large home, requiring someone who takes real pride in their work and can maintain the property to an exceptionally high standard.

Duties will include:

• Daily and detailed cleaning throughout the entire property.
• Regular deep cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming and mopping all floors.
• Cleaning and maintaining all surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Full laundry care, including washing, drying, ironing and putting clothes away.
• Changing bed linen and keeping bedrooms fresh and beautifully presented.
• Keeping wardrobes, cupboards and household storage areas organised.
• Maintaining the kitchen, including cleaning appliances and keeping cupboards and surfaces tidy.
• Monitoring household cleaning products and supplies and letting the family know when items need replenishing.
• General household organisation and ensuring the home is always clean, tidy and well presented.
• Helping to care for the family's gorgeous one-year-old Golden Retriever, including giving the puppy some attention, companionship and occasional help with its general routine.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have solid experience as a private housekeeper, ideally in a large household.
• Be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently.
• Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards.
• Be reliable, discreet, trustworthy and hardworking.
• Hold a current DBS check and have excellent references.
• Genuinely love dogs and be happy working in a home with a young Golden Retriever.

Location: Sevenoaks
Days: 3 days per week
Hours: 6–8 hours per day
Rate: £20 gross per hour
Start date: Immediately
