Temporary Housekeeper – Plaxtol, Kent

Hummingbird Homestaff is looking for a reliable, proactive and experienced Temporary Housekeeper to support a lovely household in Plaxtol, Kent, with an immediate start through to Christmas.

Both the husband and wife are currently recovering from operations, so they are looking for someone who can step in, take care of the household and make day-to-day life a little easier.

Live-in or Live-out Options Available

Live-in:

• Monday–Sunday
• 5 hours per day
• £450 gross per week
• Private bedroom provided within the family home.

Live-out:

• Monday–Friday: 3 hours per day
• Saturday and Sunday: 5 hours per day
• £450 per week
• Self-employed arrangement.

Duties will include:

• General housekeeping and keeping the home clean and tidy.
• Preparing meals and helping with food preparation.
• Running household errands and shopping.
• Collecting and dropping off dry cleaning.
• Wrapping Christmas presents.
• Helping with general household organisation.
• Providing practical day-to-day support to the family.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous housekeeping or private household experience.
• A confident driver with their own car.
• Organised, reliable and happy to work independently.
• Proactive, practical and able to use their initiative.
• Comfortable helping with a variety of household tasks.
• Available immediately and able to commit through to Christmas.
