Hummingbird Homestaff is looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join a beautiful, busy, rural household in Romsey, Hampshire.

The family live in a large six-bedroom farmhouse on a substantial farm, with five dogs and ducks, so you must be confident around animals. This is a hands-on housekeeping role for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can confidently manage the housekeeping independently to a high standard.

Hours & Pay:

• Tuesday–Friday
• 10am–3pm
• £20 gross per hour
• Immediate start available

Duties will include:

• General and detailed housekeeping throughout the home
• Deep cleaning and maintaining high standards
• Laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
• Taking in and unpacking grocery deliveries
• Cleaning and organising the fridge and cupboards
• Keeping household storage areas tidy and organised
• Taking pride in maintaining a clean, well-presented home

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous private household housekeeping experience
• Be confident working independently and using their initiative
• Have excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards
• Be comfortable around dogs and other animals
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own transport, as the property is rural
• Have an up-to-date DBS and excellent references

The family are looking for someone dependable, proactive and happy to get on with the housekeeping without needing direction.
