Professional Nanny – 18-Month-Old Toddler – Canary Wharf

Hummingbird Homestaff are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely family in Canary Wharf who are looking for an experienced, nurturing, and reliable Nanny to care for their happy 18-month-old child.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny who enjoys supporting children's development through play, routine, and engaging activities. The family are looking for someone who is kind, proactive, and genuinely passionate about early years childcare.

The role is primarily focused on caring for their little one, with some light housekeeping duties related to the child.

Hours

  • 3 days per week
  • 11:00am – 7:00pm
  • Days to be agreed with the successful candidate

Duties Include

  • Sole-charge care of an 18-month-old
  • Planning fun, age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
  • Trips to local parks, playgroups, and classes
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
  • Supporting nap times and daily routines
  • Keeping the nursery, play areas, and children's belongings clean and organised
  • Children's laundry and meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping duties related to the child

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous nanny experience with toddlers is essential
  • Warm, caring, and patient
  • Proactive and organised
  • Confident working independently
  • Passionate about supporting children's development
  • Paediatric First Aid and an up-to-date DBS are desirable
  • Excellent references

Salary

Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Start Date

As soon as possible.
