After-School Nanny – Shenfield, Essex

Location: Shenfield, Essex
Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–7:00pm
Pay: £18–£20 per hour

Hummingbird Homestaff are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced After-School Nanny to join a lovely family in Shenfield, Essex.

The family have three lovely boys aged 11, 9 and 7 and are looking for someone caring, organised and proactive to help with their afternoon and evening routine.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include collecting the children from school, bringing them home safely, helping with homework, preparing their evening meal and keeping them entertained and organised throughout the afternoon.

You will also be expected to help keep the children's areas tidy, organise school bags and belongings, and generally ensure the afternoon runs smoothly.

Hours & Holidays

The hours are Monday to Friday, 3pm–7pm, and these hours will remain the same during the school holidays.

There may be an opportunity to offer additional hours during the holidays if the nanny would like to work more.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Warm, caring and genuinely enjoys working with children
Reliable, organised and responsible
Confident managing three children
Happy to help with homework and school routines
Comfortable preparing children's meals
A confident driver with a full UK driving licence and own car
Experienced working with school-aged children
Looking for a long-term position with a lovely family

Pay: £18–£20 per hour, depending on experience.
