Part-Time Housekeeper – Tunbridge Wells – 10–12 Hours

Hummingbird HomeStaff are looking for an experienced and capable Housekeeper to join a lovely family in Tunbridge Wells.

This is a genuine private household housekeeping role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for a home and keeping everything running beautifully. The family have a baby and a dog, but there is no childcare or pet care required.

Salary: £20 gross per hour
Hours: 10–12 hours per week over 2 days
Days: Ideally Monday & Thursday
Start: ASAP
Driver: Essential

The Role

The family are looking for a true Housekeeper who can take ownership of the home and is confident working independently.

Duties will include:

• Thorough cleaning and deep cleaning
• General housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
• Laundry and ironing
• Organising cupboards, wardrobes and household storage
• Keeping the home tidy, organised and beautifully presented
• Changing and maintaining bedding and towels
• Keeping on top of household supplies
• Organising and maintaining the home
• Noticing what needs doing and taking care of it without being asked
• Helping the household run smoothly on a day-to-day basis

There is no childcare or pet care involved, although the successful candidate should be comfortable working in a home with a baby and dog.

• A true Housekeeper rather than purely a cleaner
• Excellent attention to detail
• Thorough and takes pride in their work
• Highly organised and proactive
• Confident working independently
• Happy to take responsibility for the running and organisation of the home
• Experienced with laundry, ironing and deep cleaning
• A driver with their own reliable transport, as driving to the property is essential
• Looking for a long-term position with a lovely family

This would suit someone who genuinely loves housekeeping, enjoys an organised home and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly.
