A warm and welcoming private family are seeking a reliable, discreet and experienced self-employed housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home on a long-term basis.

The household includes two children aged 7 and 15, meaning there is regular laundry, ironing, and general household upkeep. The family are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and can become a trusted, consistent presence within the home.

The Role:

This is a hands-on housekeeping position requiring excellent standards, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties Include:

• Deep cleaning throughout the home
• Vacuuming, mopping and thorough floor care (very important)
• Laundry and ironing (high volume household laundry)
• General tidying and household organisation
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning to a high standard
• Keeping the home consistently clean, fresh and well-presented

About You:

• Previous private housekeeping experience essential
• Strong floor care and deep cleaning skills
• Confident with laundry and ironing
• Trustworthy, discreet and respectful of family privacy
• Able to work independently and manage your own time
• Warm, friendly and able to fit naturally into a family environment
• Looking for a long-term, stable role
