Live in Housekeeper - Edenbridge

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting a Live-in Housekeeper for a beautiful family home in Edenbridge, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and responsible candidate who enjoys housekeeping and is happy to help care for animals as part of their role.

The Role

• Location: Edenbridge, Kent
• Hours: 30/40 hours per week, spread across 7 days (flexibility required as daily duties need to be covered)
• Salary: £32,000/40,000 per annum depending on experience
• Accommodation: Private apartment provided
• Car: Use of a car included
• Start: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• General housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and maintaining the home to a high standard
• Household organisation and running daily routines smoothly
• Looking after the family’s two dogs, horses, chickens and ducks, particularly when the principals are away (approx. 4 months per year)
• Ensuring animals are fed, cared for and exercised where required
• Assisting with occasional errands and ad hoc household support

Candidate Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience in a private household
• Pet-friendly and confident caring for animals, including dogs and horses
• Reliable, proactive and organised
• Happy to work flexibly across the week to meet household needs
• Kind and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility
