Housekeeper for Private Family Home | Winkfield, Berkshire

£18–£20 gross per hour | 12–15 hours per week

Hummingbird Homestaff are looking for an experienced, meticulous and personable Housekeeper to join a beautiful private family home in Winkfield, Berkshire.

The family are warm, welcoming and highly considerate, with two boys aged 6 and 8, and are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining a home to an exceptionally high standard.

This is a lovely four-bedroom cottage, and the role would suit a Housekeeper who is naturally organised, proactive and has an excellent eye for detail.

Duties will include:

• Full housekeeping and day-to-day cleaning
• Detailed and deep cleaning
• Maintaining a beautifully presented and well-organised home
• Laundry and high-standard ironing
• Tidying and organising throughout the property
• Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces immaculate
• Taking initiative with household tasks and ensuring nothing is overlooked

There is no cooking required.

The family have a much-loved dog, so the successful candidate must be comfortable and genuinely dog-friendly. There is no dog walking involved.

Hours

12–15 hours per week over 3 days

• Friday
• One additional day of your choice

The ideal candidate

The successful Housekeeper will be experienced, discreet, reliable and exceptionally detail-oriented, with a natural ability to anticipate what needs doing and maintain a home to a high standard without being directed.

You will ideally have previous experience working within a private household and be confident undertaking both regular housekeeping and more detailed deep-cleaning and organisational tasks.

A warm and approachable personality is important, as is being comfortable working around children and a family dog.
