Hours: 5 hours per day / 25 hours per week
Preferred hours: Monday 9.00am–2.00pm, Tuesday–Friday 1.00pm–6.00pm
Salary: £20gph

About the Family

A lovely family in Ealing are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and dedicated Housekeeper to join their busy household.

The family have two children, aged 8 and 6, and are looking for someone who will take real pride in looking after the home and become a trusted part of their family routine.

This is not simply a cleaning position. The family are looking for someone who can take ownership of the housekeeping, notice what needs doing and keep everything organised and running smoothly.

Duties will include:

• Full housekeeping and deep cleaning
• Keeping the home clean, tidy and beautifully presented
• Laundry and ironing
• Washing, folding and putting away clothes
• Preparing and organising the children's school uniforms
• Keeping the children's wardrobes organised
• Changing bed linen and towels
• General household organisation
• Cooking and preparing family meals
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Managing household supplies
• Taking initiative with tasks that need doing
• Helping to keep the busy family home running smoothly

The Ideal Candidate

The family are looking for someone who is:

• Extremely reliable and trustworthy
• Dedicated and takes pride in their work
• Experienced in private household housekeeping
• Thorough and has excellent attention to detail
• Organised and able to manage their own workload
• Comfortable working in a busy family home
• Confident with laundry, ironing and household organisation
• A good, confident cook
• Proactive and able to use their own initiative
• Looking for a long-term position

The family would ideally like the hours to be Monday 9am–2pm and Tuesday–Friday 1pm–6pm, however they are flexible for the right candidate.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper who is looking for a stable, employed position with a welcoming family and who genuinely enjoys taking pride in a home.
