| Professional Housekeeper – West Humble, Dorking Location: West Humble, Dorking, Surrey Salary: £19 gross per hour Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm Schedule: 24 hours per week Start: ASAP Hummingbird Homestaff is looking for an experienced and highly capable Professional Housekeeper to join a lovely private household in West Humble, Dorking. This is a detailed housekeeping role within a beautiful Victorian home, where the successful candidate will take real pride in maintaining the property to a very high standard. The Role The property is a four-bedroom Victorian house with one very friendly Labradoodle. The Housekeeper will be responsible for the full day-to-day housekeeping of the home, including: Detailed cleaning throughout the property Dusting and polishing, including delicate and period features Thorough bathroom and kitchen cleaning Vacuuming, mopping and maintaining floors Laundry and ironing Changing and making beds Keeping wardrobes and household areas organised General household tidying and organisation Ensuring the home is consistently maintained to a high standard Dog-related household duties where required Occasional additional household tasks as needed This is a home that requires someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a genuine understanding of professional housekeeping. School Collection The final part of the working day will include a school collection. The school is approximately a 5-minute drive from the house, so the successful candidate will need to be comfortable with this responsibility. A clean driving licence and confidence driving locally would therefore be required.
