Housekeeper in Canary Wharf

Job Title: Child-Friendly Housekeeper – Part-Time
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £18–£20 per hour (gross), depending on experience
Hours: 4 afternoons per week – Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Start Date: Immediate

Job Description:
A warm and welcoming family in Canary Wharf is seeking a reliable and experienced housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their home. The family has a new baby, so the ideal candidate will be child-friendly and happy to help with light supervision of the baby when needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, is proactive, and enjoys working in a family environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning and tidying of the home
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen and keeping bedrooms fresh
• Light meal prep or kitchen help if required
• Occasionally watching the baby while mum is at home

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior housekeeping experience in a private home (2+ years preferred)
• Comfortable around babies and confident to assist with light supervision
• Friendly, professional, and trustworthy
• Able to work independently and manage time well
• DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
• Available for an immediate start
