Experienced Nanny for 5-Month-Old Baby – September Start East London - Redbridge

Position: Sole Charge Nanny
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time (exact hours negotiable from 2 to 4 days)
Location: Redbridge, East London
Rate: £17–£18 gross per hour (depending on experience)
Driver: Not required

We are a warm and caring family seeking a professional and nurturing nanny to care for our baby who will be 5 months old in September. This is a sole charge role for someone with genuine passion and proven experience in early infancy and child development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Confident caring for young babies from 5 months onward
• Knowledgeable about sleep routines, weaning (traditional and/or baby-led), and early developmental stages
• Proactive in planning age-appropriate activities that support physical, cognitive, and emotional development
• Kind, calm, and patient with a strong sense of responsibility
• Clear communicator and aligned with a gentle, responsive parenting style

Key Responsibilities:

• Sole care of the baby during working hours
• Supporting nap schedules and helping maintain healthy sleep habits
• Preparing and introducing solid foods and managing weaning
• Engaging in play, reading, sensory and outdoor activities to support developmental milestones
• Baby’s laundry and light nursery-related housekeeping

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience with infants under 1 year
• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Check
• Recent and checkable childcare references
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to renew)
• Right to work in the UK
