After-School Nanny – Hackney, Victoria Park – Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm–7:30pm – May Start

A lovely family in Hackney, Victoria Park is seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging after-school nanny to care for their two young children, aged 2 and 4. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys nurturing young children, supporting their development, and becoming a valued part of a family’s daily routine.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm – 7:30pm

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be caring, energetic, and proactive, helping the children transition from school or nursery to home in a calm and structured way. You will also prepare a light, healthy tea and engage the children in fun, age-appropriate activities. Light housekeeping related to the children may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• School/nursery pick-ups and safe return home
• Preparing a light, healthy tea for the children
• Supporting routines and engaging in play, learning, and creative activities
• Encouraging a calm and happy environment after school
• Light housekeeping duties related to the children (tidying toys, keeping play areas organised)

The Children:
A sweet and curious 2-year-old and an active, playful 4-year-old who love learning, playing, and exploring.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous childcare experience, ideally with toddlers and preschoolers
• Warm, patient, and engaging with young children
• Reliable, punctual, and organised
• Comfortable preparing light meals for children
• Happy to assist with light housekeeping duties
• Positive, proactive, and friendly attitude
