Lovely family in Sevenoaks looking for a Full time Nanny/Housekeeper

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Housekeeper/Nanny to provide exceptional care for the children and support with housekeeping. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for children, ensuring their safety, education, and overall well-being. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, supporting their development, and creating a positive atmosphere for learning and play. The candidate must be happy to flex between childcare and then housekeeping while they are at school.

The family have three children 15/14 and 12 years that are all at school during the day. They have a new baby arriving in January. They need a housekeeper that is happy to support with the children when they get home from school at 4pm. Must be confident to watch a new baby when mum is resting or needs to take calls for work.

Hours: Monday to Friday

11am till 7pm

Salary: £17gph

Total: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Support with a new baby, confident with feeding and keeping baby into a routine.
• Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development.
• Assist with homework if needed
• Prepare meals and snacks for a busy home
• Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children.
• Clean the bathrooms and kitchen throughout the day
• Drive children to various activities in the afternoon or watch baby while mum drives.
• Landry and ironing

Skills

• Proficient in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both children and parents.
• Experience in Nannying or Childcare is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• A valid driving licence is essential for transporting children safely.
• Knowledge of educational techniques to help educate children during playtime is advantageous.
