Part-Time Housekeeper – Chelmsford, Essex – Immediate Start

A busy, friendly family based in Chelmsford, Essex are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home.

With two very young children and both parents working full-time, the family is looking for someone reliable and organised who can take pride in maintaining a clean, calm and well-managed household environment.

Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 2 days per week, 5 hours per visit (10 hours per week total)
Rate: £18–£20 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep cleaning and high-standard general housekeeping

• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation

• Maintaining a tidy and organised home environment

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the household

• Ensuring household supplies are monitored and replenished where required

• Creating a well-ordered, family-friendly space

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have prior private household housekeeping experience

• Be confident managing cleaning tasks independently

• Have excellent attention to detail

• Be trustworthy, discreet and dependable

• Be comfortable working around young children

• Take initiative and have a proactive approach
