Mother’s Help & Dog Walker – Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £18–£20 gross per hour
Hours: Part-time, afternoons/early evenings (approx. 2–3 hours per day)

About the role:
A lovely family in Great Missenden is seeking a kind, reliable and practical Mother’s Help who can support family life in the afternoons and early evenings. This is a varied role that includes school collection, light household help, homework support, and walking the family’s three friendly dogs — so a genuine love of children and animals is essential.

The family’s daughter is 9 years old, bright and cheerful, and enjoys having someone positive and engaging around after school.

Key responsibilities:

• Collecting the child from school and supervising after-school time
• Supporting with homework for around an hour each evening
• Walking the family’s three dogs daily – must be confident and experienced with animals
• Warming up and serving the evening meal, and clearing away afterwards
• Ensuring the home is left tidy and organised after the evening routine

About you:

• Kind, patient and dependable with a calm manner
• Confident managing children and comfortable with family pets
• A safe and capable driver (own car preferred due to location)
• Organised, proactive, and happy to help where needed
• Previous childcare or household experience highly desirable

Hours & pay:

• Monday to Thursday - 4 hours per day - 2pm till 6pm
• £18–£20 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Immediate start available
