Hummingbird Family Support supports the dignity and independence of elderly clients living happily, and independently, in their own homes. From spending a few hours per for a coffee and chat to daily visits encouraging development of social life, escorting to leisure activities, housekeeping duties and preparing meals etc

We provide a highly personalised, flexible service allowing us to meet the needs and choices the clients and families we support. On registering with us at Hummingbird Home Support, we will arrange a date to visit you in your home at a suitable time in order for us to completely understand your expectations and assess how we can meet your support needs.

Companionship: Social interaction in the community, transportation, company whilst doing hobbies, light housekeeping, emotional support and a friend to listen and talk to.

Live­In Care/24 Hour Care: Perfect around the clock support for those who wish to remain at home but still require companionship and assistance with daily household duties.

All support workers introduced through Hummingbird Home Support are carefully selected, supported and provide any required training qualifications when needed. Our support workers undergo enhanced background and reference checks along Enhanced DBS ensuring that they are all trustworthy, reliable and honest.

We understand how important it is to match the perfect client and the perfect carer/family. We are an introduction Agency and we will find one candidate to work with you and your family to suit your requirements, rather than a continuous stream of carers on a daily/weekly basis, which can for many of our elderly clients, become extremely confusing and upsetting.   

As an introduction agency, this will confirm the client as the employer, and that they are classed as the employer of the Companion/Housekeeper, and will therefore be solely responsible for their tax, National Insurance and pension contributions along with their own employers contributions.

As part of our service and commitment to our clients and families, Hummingbird Home Support provide all new clients with all the relevant information and support needed in order to ensure that they are able to easily set up payroll for their employee and provide contract of employment through our recommended Payroll specialist company Way2Paye. They will also receive any and as much advise needed regarding employees sickness and holiday entitlement etc, along with full legal advise if and when needed.     


Hummingbird Home Support is managed Mrs Victoria Clark.

Victoria is held the City and Guilds Family and Community Care certificate since 1992, she has worked with the elderly in the community as a Community Care Assistant, as well as in Residential homes, Care Homes and in Day Centres for the elderly.
