Live in Nanny - Haslemere Surrey

A lovely family based in Haslemere, Surrey, is seeking a warm, reliable, and organised live-in nanny to care for their three children aged 7, 5, and 2. This is a full-time, long-term role with excellent live-in accommodation provided — a private one-bedroom cottage on the family’s grounds.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, responsible, and genuinely enjoy working with children. The family also has a friendly cocker spaniel, so you must be comfortable around dogs. A competent swimmer is essential, as the home has an open swimming pool that the children regularly use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily care and supervision of the children
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
• Packing and organising bags for school, swimming, clubs, and trips
• Managing and unpacking the weekly Ocado delivery
• Light household duties related to the children (e.g. tidying toys, children's laundry)
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
• Supporting the family's daily routines and helping maintain a calm, structured environment

Working Hours:

• School Holidays: 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Term Time: Typically the same hours (8:00am – 6:00pm), but reduced hours may be considered for the right candidate (e.g. two half days per week) — to be discussed with the family

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a nanny or childcare role
• Confident cook with experience in meal planning
• Organised and proactive with excellent time management
• Competent swimmer
• Full UK driving licence
• Non-smoker
• Enhanced DBS check and references required
