Job Title: Part-Time Cook / Housekeeper (Afternoons)

Location: Dorking Surrey

Salary: £18–£20 per hour

Agency: Hummingbird Homestaff

Schedule: 4–5 afternoons per week, 3 hours per visit
Hours: Either 1:00pm–4:00pm or 2:00pm–5:00pm

Job Description
Hummingbird Homestaff is seeking a reliable and proactive cook/housekeeper on behalf of a lovely family. This part-time afternoon role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking healthy meals and keeping a household running smoothly.

The family has two teenagers and two friendly dogs, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a pet-friendly home.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals for the family
• General housekeeping duties including cleaning and tidying
• Organising household areas to maintain a well-run home
• Ensuring the kitchen and living spaces are left clean and tidy after cooking
• Light household management tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in private housekeeping or cooking within a household
• Confident preparing nutritious home-style meals
• Pet friendly and comfortable around dogs
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a tidy home
