Hours:

• Term Time: 1:00pm – 6:00pm, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
• School Holidays: 8:00am – 6:00pm, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)

Job Description:

Friendly family based in Dorking seeking an experienced and caring part-time nanny to support the care and development of two school-aged children (5 and 7 years old). The role offers shorter afternoon hours during term time and full days during school holidays, providing a great balance for candidates looking for a steady part-time position with longer hours in holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect children from school (local pick-up required)
• Assist with homework, reading practice, and educational activities
• Organise and supervise after-school activities, playdates, and outings
• Prepare healthy snacks and simple family-style evening meals
• Engage children in creative play, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities
• Full day care during school holidays, including planning fun and age-appropriate outings
• Maintain a tidy and organised environment for the children
• Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s activities and wellbeing

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous professional nanny experience with similar age groups
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Full UK driving licence and own car preferred (or excellent local transport links)
• Fluent in English
• Reliable, warm, energetic, and confident managing two school-aged children
• Non-smoker
• Excellent references
