Cleaner / Housekeeping Operative – Plymouth
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Reports to: Estates Operations Manager / Deputy

We are recruiting for a high-end residential stress management and burnout recovery retreat providing trauma-informed, person-centred care in a calm and luxurious environment. We are seeking a professional, detail-focused Cleaner/Housekeeper to help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the retreat.

The Role

You will be part of the housekeeping team, ensuring all guest, staff and clinical areas are maintained to the highest hygiene and presentation standards, supporting a safe, serene and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of guest bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, dining and therapy areas
• Maintaining immaculate presentation in line with a luxury retreat setting
• Laundry of bedding and towels and replenishing guest supplies
• Adhering to infection control, COSHH and health & safety procedures
• Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Working collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance and hospitality teams
• Maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times

About You

• Proven experience in cleaning/housekeeping (luxury, hospitality, healthcare or similar required)
• Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of hygiene and health & safety practices
• Calm, respectful and discreet manner
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning duties
• Right to work in the UK
