Salary: £18–£20 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: Flexible / As soon as possible
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
7:00am – 11:00am (Saturday hours can be adjusted to suit the right candidate)
Job Description
Hummingbird Homestaff is seeking a reliable and organised Housekeeper / Nanny to support a welcoming family based in Hemel Hempstead. This is primarily a housekeeping role with occasional light childcare support for their 2-year-old child.
The family is looking for someone proactive who enjoys keeping a home well organised while also being comfortable helping with light childcare duties when required. The household also has a small friendly dog, so candidates must be pet friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- General housekeeping including cleaning, tidying, and organising
- Laundry and light household tasks to keep the home running smoothly
- Occasional nursery drop-off (driver required)
- Light childcare support for the 2-year-old when needed
- Helping maintain a calm and organised home environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or nanny roles
- Driver with own car preferred for nursery drop-offs
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Comfortable working in a home with a small dog
- Friendly, trustworthy, and able to work independently
