Job Title: Housekeeper for Elderly Gentleman – Saffron Walden
Location: Elmdon, CN11 3NN
Salary: £18–£20 per hour (gross), depending on experience
Hours: 2 hours per week- Must be on either Thursday or Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Must love to dog walk!

Job Description:

We are seeking a kind, capable, and reliable Housekeeper to support an elderly gentleman living independently in Elmdon. This is a varied role that combines domestic housekeeping, light cooking, and household admin support, so would suit someone who is practical, organised, and personable.

You must be a driver due to the location and occasional errands.

Key Responsibilities:

• General household cleaning, tidying, and upkeep
• Laundry and ironing
• Cooking simple, nutritious meals
• Grocery shopping and managing supplies
• Supporting with light household admin (e.g. bills, post, appointments)
• Occasional driving for errands or appointments

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous private housekeeping experience
• Friendly, respectful, and discreet
• Comfortable working around and supporting an elderly individual
• Confident cook with a focus on healthy meals
• Driver with own car (mileage reimbursed if used for errands)
• Excellent references and DBS check (or willing to obtain)
